History of Amida, Inc.

Amida Inc. was incorporated in 2014 by Andrew Gagnon.

Andrew has been working in the  machining industry in many different roles since 1983. He has experience in everything from large, low volume parts to smaller, very high volume parts running in excess of several million pieces per year.

Andrew has spent many years designing fixtures and tooling for machining and molding industries (rubber as well as liquid silicone). He also has experience working very closely with many types of foundries, (sand, semi-permanent mold, lost foam, and die casting) sourcing tooling and castings.

All of his experiences and passion for the industry have led him to start a machine shop of his own, where he can provide customers with precision machined components using the most cost-effective processes available.
